Each session will be run by two main facilitators for the all the weeks. These facilitators will focus on different topics. Other sessions will be run by special guest speakers to share their stories and also educate the participants.

These sessions will be led in small groups to make sure each participant receives maximum help and when called for, some personal coaching may be offered. Sessions will be done in different varieties from speakers, power point presentations to drama and role- playing to meet the different styles of learning to meet all the participants.

Our sessions are structured in the following format:

  • Definition: What is the topic to be discussed or taught?
  • Occurrence: Where does it occur? How? Who participates?
  • Target: who does it affect? What are the statistics? Causes? What are the main areas of concern? What are the major issues?
  • Law and Policies: how good are the agencies that govern the issue? Who enforces it? What are the policies? How old or new are they?
  • Solutions: what can be done to solve it or minimize it? Is deterrence working? What agencies are offering practical solutions? Is it getting better or worse?
  • Signposting: who are the best people to work with or get more information from?
  • A.O.B: questions, reflections, discussions and so forth.

At the end of the 8-12 weeks course, the participants will receive their well deserved certificate.
